Five influential "Mates" in Slough....!

I know quite a number of  "mates" in Slough, but the following can be seen as being influential in making a difference that effects many people in different ways...

Andreas Schneider

I met Andreas at the Curve Library in Slough 2019. He was introduced to me my late Jewish composer friend Tony Osborne. I found him very charming and he had a strong sense of humour which I distinctly liked. He was the sort of person anyone could get on with.. Anyway, he plays an important public role in trying to spread happiness, and also making people aware of the Arts in Slough!!

Pete Cox

He is a noted poet in Slough, and has produced some interesting, and unusual work. I have met him and have talked with him on the odd occasion. He is quite often found in Star Bucks.

Shin Dhother

He has been playing a vital role in giving free food for the homeless, and needy via Slough Outreach. He is a charming, and interesting character with strong roots in the need for selfless service in a selfish world.

Revd Alistair Stewart

On a number occasions I have met and chatted to Alistair who is the team vicar of St. Laurence's Church in the Upton area of Slough. I find him amusing and very easy going and have met him at the other church in Chalvey virtually opposite to where I live. Quite often I sit at the foot of the war memorial usually having an al fresco snack and he sometimes appears...just like that grining away!!

Tan Desi

He is the respected MP for Slough, He is the first to wear the traditonal Sikh turban in Parliament! I have met him a few times, and he comes across as being pleasant, and genuine.
